PATIENCE IS TRUSTING IN GOD

“Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him; but I will maintain mine own ways before Him.”Job 13:15 (KJV)Job is a good example of what it means to exercise patience while trusting God. Job did not understand what was happening to him. He could not explain it, neither did he know where it was coming from. Yet he chose to trust God. In Job 14:14, he said, “all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.” (KJV) He was waiting and still serving. He refused to serve the devil. Rather He said, I know that my redeemer lives, when he has tried me, I will come forth as gold. In other words, by the time this trial is over, my life will be better. It can only get better. That is patience. So, what do you do in the midst of the challenge! What do you do when you believe God for some manifestations and the pressure and symptoms that the enemy is bringing contradicts what God said? Keep praying the way you have been doing. Keep praising God the same way you used to. Keep giving like you used to. Keep studying the Bible. Keep fasting! Keep fellowshipping! Keep serving. That is what patience does.Patience doesn’t say I must shut down. There is no use serving God because He has disappointed me. If God is truly God, why did He allow this to happen? No! There are certain absolutes that must be settled in your life which you can’t bend. So, no matter the adversity, it doesn’t move you because of what you know.Today, let the force of patience be released in your life. Every wicked plan of the enemy to abort your manifestation is destroyed in the Name that is above every other name. Every word of scripture that has been spoken over your life, which you are holding unto will come to pass in Jesus Name. All satanic configuration and devices of the enemy are rendered ineffective. They are nullified in the Name of Jesus. As Job finally testified; you too will testify.Further Reading: Job 14:7-15, Job 42:10-16Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Isaiah 26-27; Evening- Philippians 2
