Pray and Receive the Peace of God
Philippians 4:6-7 (LB) Don’t worry about anything, instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.
1 Peter 5:7 (CEV) God cares for you, so turn all you worries over to him.
1 Peter 5:7 (LB) Let him have all your worries and cares, for he is always thinking about you and watching everything that concerns you.
There is a popular hymn that says, “What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear, what a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. O what peace we often forfeit, O what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry everything to God in prayer.” God cares for you. He cares about every single detail of your life. That is why even the very hairs of your hear are all numbered, Matt. 10:30. God has promised to perfect all that concerns you, Psa. 138:8. He wants you to come boldly to His throne of grace to obtain His mercy an find His grace to help you in your time of need, Heb. 4:16. Don’t run away from God when you need Him the most. Run to Him. Call upon Him. God is not condemning you. He understands you and He wants to help you and lift you out of that burden or difficult situation. He wants to show you His mercy and grace. He wants to manifest His abundant power and glory in your life. He is willing to help you even more than you are willing to ask Him for His help because of how much He loves you. He is a good Father that takes good care of His household, Luke 11:13.
If is His wisdom or anything else that you need, ask Him in faith and He will give it to you liberally, James 1:5. He wants you to ask and you shall receive, Matt. 7:7. It may be a personal need or about a family member or for another believer. His ears and arms are wide open for you. It is not your responsibility to worry and carry those burdens. That is God’s responsibility. Your responsibility is to turn them over to Him and trust Him for His timely intervention. Pray in faith. Pray as if it is Christ praying and pray until you begin to sense God’s peace and victory over the situation. Thank Him and praise Him.
Action Point:
Pour out your heart to God right now concerning any issue that you desire His touch and intervention. Pray in faith and give thanks in faith.
