PRAY FOR GLORIOUS ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD’S LIGHT

ACTS 9:3-6 (NKJV) As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting…” So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?”

There are people who may seem beyond our reach or may seem too far gone to ever be saved. God can reach them and transform them by His glorious light. This is why we must never give up praying and believing in God for their salvation and transformation. Some of them may be like Saul in our text above who was a major threat to the lives of others and God’s kingdom. God Himself can arrest them with His glorious light and grace. His light and love will transform their lives and from being major threats to the lives of others, they will become major vessels God will use to bless the lives of others and advance His kingdom on the earth. They will yield their influence to God as channels for God to save and bless the lives of others.

We must also pray for false ministers and all who deceive and exploit believers by teaching and doing the wrong things. Pray for God to open their eyes to His truth and that God will help them to see Christ (2 Cor.4:6) and be transformed from glory to glory into the image of Christ, (2 Cor.3:18). That they’ll come to understand that Christ is the wisdom and power of God (1Cor.1:23-24). That they’ll teach and preach Christ, (Acts 5:42). Pray that like Apollos, God will lead them to people who will explain the way of Christ more accurately to them and through them so many lives will be blessed, (Acts 18:24-28).

PRAYER:
Father, may the unsaved and false ministers around us encounter the glorious light of Christ. May their lives be changed
