PRAY IN TONGUES

“But ye, beloved, building up yourself in your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.”Jude 1:20 (KJV)Many believers don’t understand what it means to pray in the Holy Ghost. The bible says: “out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water (John 7:38).Paul was looking at a Roman soldier when he was writing to the Church in Ephesians 6:16.  So why is it a fairy dart? The purpose of the fairy dart is to shoot at that shield which is made of wood in order to set it ablaze. But when you pray in the Holy Spirit what happens is that the rivers of living waters which flows out of your belly wets the shield so that by the time the arrow comes with the flame it will just quench it.I often tell the church to pray in the Holy Spirit. There is so much about praying in the Holy Ghost that many believers have not understood. Medical scientists have proven that there are certain chemicals released when believers pray in tongues, which ordinarily cannot be released in your body. The devil fears the man that prays in the Holy Spirit. A lot of things you cannot imagine take place when you pray in tongues. You must begin to apply and appropriate who you are. That is why you must pray in tongues and speak the word of God to yourself. Start your day speaking in tongues. Take charge of your day, even before you step out, form the habit of speaking in tongues for one hour. Now if you are just starting, start with 5 mins and progress until it becomes a habit. Don’t procrastinate, start on this today. Take 5 minutes to start with. Do nothing but pray. If you get sleepy, get up and walk around your room by yourself; don’t let a day pass without quality time in God’s presence. As you continually pray in tongues, I declare you will never end in disaster. No matter what the enemy has packaged, it can never end for you on a bad note!Further Reading: Romans 8:14-27; 1 Corinthians 14:1-5Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Ezekiel 16-17; Evening- James 3
