PRAY THAT THE GOSPEL WILL FLOW AND BE GLORIFIED

2Thessalonians 3:1 (TPT, LB)

Finally, dear brothers and sisters, pray for us that the Lord’s message will continue to spread rapidly and its glory be recognized everywhere, just as it was with you. *Finally, dear brothers, as I come to the end of this letter, I ask you to pray for us. Pray first that the Lord’s message will spread rapidly and triumph wherever it goes, winning converts everywhere as it did when it came to you.

It is important that we pray often about the spread of the gospel of Christ. The salvation of the souls of men is God’s heartbeat. There is always great joy in Heaven each time a sinner gets saved, (Luke 15:7). God wants all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, (1Tim.2:4). As darkness is filling the earth and gross darkness is covering people (Isa.60:1-2), the light of the knowledge of the glory of Christ needs to be filling the hearts of men more than ever before, (2Cor.4:6).

Pray for wisdom and victory over every hindrance and obstacle to the spread of the gospel of Christ. Pray for God to grant utterance and boldness to all believers to preach the gospel, (Eph.6:19). When the early believers were threatened to stop preaching the gospel, they gathered together and prayed for boldness and for God to stretch forth His hands and manifest signs and wonders, (Acts 4:29-31). The Gospel continued to spread. Pray for signs and wonders to confirm the word. Pray for open doors (opportunities) for the true gospel of Christ to grow and spread into places it has not been, (Col.4:3). Pray that God will open the eyes of people to understand the gospel so that they may be free and enjoy their inheritance in Him, (Acts 26:18). Also pray for those that get saved to be established in the faith, (Acts 16:5).

Action Point:
Pray in the Spirit and ask God for the Gospel to spread rapidly and for His glory to be manifested as the Gospel spreads.
