PRAYERS FOR PEACE AND SAFETY IN THE NATION (3)

Psalm 127:1b (NKJV, NIV, NLT), Proverbs 21:31 (KJV & TPT)

…Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain. *…Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. …Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. *The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD. *You can do your best to prepare for the battle, but the ultimate victory comes from the Lord God.

We need to pray fervently and in the authority of Christ, for all who are in charge of security and maintaining law and order in the nation. Without God’s help, all their efforts will be in vain and evil will continue to prevail in the land.

The security operatives are messengers of God. In The Living Bible, Romans 13:4 says, “The policeman is sent by God to help you. But if you are doing something wrong, of course you should be afraid, for he will have you punished. He is sent by God for that very purpose.”

Pray that all forms of evil and corruption in the nation’s security outfits will come to an end. Pray for the security outfits that they will have all the strength and resources they need. Pray that the Angels of God will complement their efforts. Pray that God will grant them His wisdom and favour and prosper all their efforts at combating crime in our nation. Pray that as God did for David, He will enlighten their darkness (give them wisdom), they will run through troops and leap over walls, the Lord will gird them with strength and grant speed to their feet, God will teach their hands to war and that they will break bows of steel with their arms, (Psa.18:28-34).

Prayer Focus:
Thank God for the lives of everyone in the nation. Pray and ask Him to help and strengthen the security operatives
