PREPARE FOR INCREASE

Genesis 41:14, 34-36, Psalms 115:14 …Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon: and he shaved himself, and changed his raiment, and came in unto Pharaoh. Let Pharaoh do this, … take up the fifth part of the land of Egypt in the seven plenteous years. And …gather all the food of those good years ..and lay up corn….and let them keep food in the cities. And that food shall be for store to the land against the seven years of famine…in the land of Egypt …The LORD shall increase you more and more, you and your children.

Great increase is coming into your life and God wants you to prepare yourself for it. There is a strong anointing for increase that is coming upon your life as you keep your focus on Christ. In the midst of hardship and negative situations all around you, God will elevate and increase you. When men are cast down, you will say there is a lifting up. God will increase you and He will use you to lift others up. God will
use you to bring healing, hope and restoration to others.

Joseph did not wait for the famine in Egypt to come before he prepared for it. He started preparing immediately. You don’t have to wait for a new year to come before you start preparing for it. You can start preparing for it now. Prepare but keep your trust and focus on Christ. The Bible says, “The horse is prepared against the day of battle: but safety is of the LORD,” Prov.21:31. The fact that God will protect you and give you victory does not mean you should not prepare or be security conscious. In the same way, the fact that God will bring great increase into your life does not mean you should not prepare for it. The grace of God is not an excuse for mediocrity, carelessness or laziness. There is no excuse why you should not prepare adequately.

The Holy Spirit will help you to prepare for the New Year. He will show you things to come and He will move you to prepare and position yourself rightly for them. When He stirs up your heart to make certain
preparations, yield wholeheartedly to Him. He will help you understand times and seasons (1Chron.12:32) and to prepare and position yourself rightly for them. Let your heart be filled with hope as you yield to God and prepare for a new season.

Prayer:
I thank you Heavenly Father, for the great increase you are bringing into my life. I yield myself to you. Help me to prepare myself adequately.
