PRESS INTO WHAT GOD HAS SAID

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own.”

Philippians 3:12 ESV

There is need for every believer to learn to press into what God has said. You see, every promise you read in the scripture is not telling you what God is going to do. Rather, it is letting you know what has already been perfected in eternity. All that is left for you to do is to press into it. The same thing goes for prophetic declarations. It has already been perfected in eternity, waiting for someone who will latch on to it. I encourage you to press in to make it your own.

This shows us very clearly that we can receive manifestations of the promises in the scriptures and the prophetic declarations made by God’s servant. But there is a pressing in that is required. It is in pressing in that we are able to truly personalize these words and make it our own. At the beginning of the year, God told us what He had already perfected for this year. But the question is, “How many truly hold on to it?” I want to encourage you never to give up on the Word.  Press in further! Turn those promises and prophetic declarations into prayers. Make them your daily confession and meditate on them. That is how to press into it.

A lot of times, people give up easily!  They hold on for a few days or weeks. They pray and they confess the Word but when they don’t see immediate results, they think it’s not working. Child of God, these are not the days to throw in the towel. No! This is the time to stand steadfast against all odds because the Word of God will never fail. Get out those prophetic declarations that you have stored away and start to really press in. You will surely testify. I want to let you know that we have not heard the last of you. You will spring a surprise!
