“PROSPERED!”
READ: Genesis 26:1-22
“And the ark of the LORD continued in the house of Obededom the Gittite three months: and the LORD blessed Obededom, and all his household.” – 2 Samuel 6:11
Isaac prospered because of the presence of God. Isaac is famous for being the one that waxed great, went forward and grew until he became very great. But he did not just suddenly become very great. The Lord had promised His presence to Isaac. “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee and bless thee.” All you need is the presence of God. Isaac was promised the presence of God, and that was enough to make him prosper in a poverty-stricken and cursed place. Decide to live where God asks you to live!
Joseph the slave prospered because of the presence of God. The scripture is quite clear on the source of Joseph’s prosperity: Genesis 39:1-5. The Lord was with him! The presence of God was with Joseph, and he prospered even when he was a slave. Today, people who are free cannot prosper in the same way that Joseph prospered when he was a slave. God was with Joseph, and that is why he prospered as a slave. God was with Joseph, and that is why he prospered in prison.
Obededom prospered because of the presence of God. Obededom is another character that experienced prosperity because of the presence of the Lord. The reason for his prosperity is clear. The Ark of God in his house made everything in his house to prosper. He experienced great prosperity because of the Ark and not because of his profession or his hard work. Most people think they experience prosperity because of their hard work or their many degrees.
The presence of God will change your level of prosperity
