“PROSPERING”
READ: Psalm 26
“For thou hast made him mo st blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance.” – Psalm 21:6
If you do not have to sit with sinners all day long, you are truly blessed. You cannot prosper in the wrong company. Pray that God will give you people whose company you enjoy. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful” (Psalms 1:1).

It is a painful experience to work for someone you dislike. You cannot prosper working for someone you dislike. It is truly a joy to work for someone whose company and leadership you enjoy. I pray that you will find an opportunity to work for someone who does not oppress you. “Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart” (Ecclesiastes 7:7).
The lack of preparation makes work a very difficult thing. Preparation is necessary for every job. Sometimes you have not read your notes or prepared adequately. A lack of preparation makes you incapable of your tasks. You cannot prosper without a proper preparation. “Prepare thy work without, and make it fit for thyself in the field; and afterwards build thine house” (Proverbs 24:27).
This lack of preparation makes work a difficult experience every day. It is important to prepare yourself adequately so that you will find yourself enjoying the work God has given you
