As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him
Joshua could not take down the walls of Jericho alone; he needed the children of Israel to help him carry out God’s unique battle plan. As their leader, Joshua did something extraordinary.
Instead of positioning himself at the forefront of the parade, he made the Ark of the Covenant the central focus of every Israelite. The Ark represented God’s presence among His people; it contained His promises to them. Surrounded by the priests, warriors, and people, the Ark was at the center of their laps around Jericho.
They kept the Word of God and His presence in sight. As you march, remember to keep Jesus at the very center of your endeavors as though your life depends on Him. If you follow a mere man, you will receive only the best that he can give. But, if you follow a limitless God, He will give you more than you can imagine.
Open the Word of God to meet Him in the pages. Find direction and hope to conquer darkness and provide courage for another lap. It always accomplishes what it is sent out to do.
When you are walking around the most difficult issue in your life, keeping His presence and His promises at the center will lead you to victory.
Blessing:
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. As you keep Jesus at the center, may His presence surround you. May His Word strengthen and encourage you. In Him, victory is sure!
