PUT ON CHRIST
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might”. Ephesians 6:10KJV
The Word of God doesn’t say you should be strong in yourself. The Word says: “…be strong in the Lord…” because you are not strong on your own. In fact, you are not a match for the devil. That may be shocking to you. If you were a match for the devil, Christ would not have come.
The Word of God doesn’t just tell you to be strong, it shows you how to be strong. “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” (Ephesians 6:11).

What is he saying? Put on the mind of Christ because all that armour represents Christ. Christ is our righteousness! Christ is the truth! Christ is our salvation! Christ is the Sword of the Spirit! Christ is the word of God. So, all those things are Christ. Put on the mind of Christ. You will never catch Christ thinking defeat. You will never catch Christ thinking, oh this challenge has come, I am going to lose. No. In fact, in one instance, He was sleeping in the boat. The boat was being tossed to and fro with waves, but He was sleeping. Why? Because He is Lord over waves. So, put on the mind of Christ. The devil operates through deception. But when you put on the mind of Christ, you render him ineffective in your life. And you can never fail! So, put it on. And “praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit….” (Ephesians 6:18)
Today, I rebuke the powers of darkness that are bombarding your mind. The devil will not eat your lunch. He will not have his way in your life. No power will stop your progress. You are advancing. Even now, lines are fallen unto you in pleasant places and you have a goodly heritage.
