PUT YOUR FAITH IN GOD’S WORD

“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17 KJV

Oh, what an assurance! “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle” because the battle is the Lord’s. This answer came from the Spirit. The other day, Apostle Paul encouraged the believers in Corinth to put their faith in the power of God. “And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” ( 1 Corinthians 2:4-5 KJV). The wisdom of men is failing but the power of God endures forever. Everything can fail, but the Word cannot fail. The Word is infallible, it is errorless, it is impregnable, and it is authoritative. God’s word is alive and powerful! You cannot put your faith in the Word of God and be disappointed. Jesus said: “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63 KJV).

The of book of John 1:1-5 (KJV)declares: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was at the beginning with God.

All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not”.

There is power in the word of God! King Jehoshaphat and his people believed the Word that the Lord spoke to them and the result was a total victory over the enemy. That will be your portion. God has spoken. You don’t need to fight. You don’t need to fight that battle you are afraid of. Whatever you are facing, you don’t need to fight. The resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ has already taken care of it. The price has been fully paid for you to enjoy victory in every battle in your life. Your fight is a fight of faith. You fight the fight of faith by believing what has already been done.
