TOPIC: Put Your Hands In His (2)
BIBLE READING: Eccl. 4-6
TEXT: “Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nationʼs before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaven gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in piece the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron”.
Isaiah 451-2
MESSAGE
The hands of God are opened for you to out yours for Him to lead you. When God leads you, He provides for you . He can use anyone or anything to meet the needs of His beloved. So the earlier He leads you, the more of Godʼs provision you know in life. When Jesus was in the manger at Godʼs command, He directed wise men from the East to minister to Him. To sustain Elijah, He directed him to Brook cherith where he drunk from the brook and He also used ravens to feed him. Later, providing for those He leads.
When God holds your hand, He fights your enemies . Whatever rises up against you have to first contend with Him, and who can fight with God and survive? God grinds your enemies to powder and breaks them to pieces. Exodus 1414 says “The LORD shall fight for you and ye shall hold your peace. When God led the Israelites to Canaan land, pharaoh and His armies pursued after them, God fought for the Israelites and drown pharaoh and all that came with him in the sea.
In 2 Chronicles 20, some nations ganged up against Israel in battle and God said to Israel, “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves,stand still and see the salvation of the LORD with you…” vs 17. The Israelites only sang praises to God and God fought for them. Finally, when God holds your hand, you fulfill destiny. He leads you to the expected end He has ordained for you. All through the way, it is from the glory till the end.
PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, I put my hands in yours Lord, lead me.
