REACH OUT TO THE MULTITUDE

“And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.” Matthew‬

There are things we often ignore, and they are necessary for us to possess our possessions. As far as our relationship with God is concerned, God has already blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. God has also given us everything that pertains to life and godliness. But many times, we are unable to access and appropriate the blessings because we do not understand certain factors that must fit in.

Jesus had to come down from the mountain to where people were after the awesome experience on the mount of transfigurations. Many of us are not effective because we refused to come down. We are glorying in our mountaintop experience forgetting that everyone does not have the same experience that we have. So, we sit up there and work against the ones that are still in the valley struggling because they are not yet able to come to the mountaintop.

Jesus was able to rebuke the devil and cured the boy that very hour because he went to meet them in the valley. Jesus came down because that is where the multitude is. Today, the multitudes are being ignored in the valley by those who have had a mountaintop experience. Multitudes are waiting to be ministered to in the valley. We must not ignore them.

We need to understand what our leadership responsibility entails. It is about helping the people who are still in the valley. It is about pulling people out of the valley. Don’t be in the company of people who have had the mountaintop experience but are no longer sensitive to what is happening in the valley. The time to reach out and help someone is now. Be the extension of God’s arms to your world today.
