REASONS WHY WE LOVE AND PRACTISE HOLINESS

Psalms 29:2 (KJV, TPT)

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. *Be in awe before his majesty. Be in awe before such power and might! Come worship wonderful Yahweh, arrayed in all his splendor, bowing in worship as he appears in the beauty of holiness. Give him the honor due his name. Worship him wearing the glory-garments of your holy, priestly calling!

The very first reason why we love holiness and walk in it is because God loves holiness. Many believers do not know how much joy and pleasure they bring to God’s heart when they acknowledge that God has made them holy and when they manifest God’s holy nature. It is a lot higher than how parents feel when they see their child performing well at something. It is more than what a manufacturer feels when he sees his product functioning well.

Another reason is that now that we have been saved, holiness has become our natural state. “Accept it. Throw off your old sinful nature and your previous way of life, which has been tainted by lust and deception. Allow the Spirit to renew your thoughts and attitudes instead. (Eph.4:24, NLT) Put on your new nature, which was created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.

Before the foundation of the world, God chose us to be holy before Him, (Eph.1:4). “God did not call us to live in immorality, but in holiness,” (1Thes.4:7, GNB). When we are overcoming sin and walking in holiness, we are living the way God designed and desires us to live. Run away from every kind of sin. Your body is the temple of God’s Spirit. God bought you with a price. Glorify God in your body and spirit, (1 Cor.6:18-20).

Faith Declaration:
I love holiness and practise it continually because God loves holiness and holiness is my new nature
