REFUSE TO GIVE UP

“And they rose up in the twilight, to go unto the camp of the Syrians: and when they were come to the uttermost part of the camp of Syria, behold, there was no man there.” 2 Kings 7:5 (KJV)We know from scriptures that all things are possible to him that believes.  That is why I want to encourage you today to keep believing and never to give up irrespective of what you are going through. Apostle Paul refused to be daunted or slowed down by the problems and hardships he had to contend with in his ministry. Observe what he said in 2 Corinthians 4:8–10. He said ‘’we are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed; always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body’’. Child of God, I challenge you to refuse to give in or give up because victory is certain for you.According to the book of 2 Kings chapter 7, there was a very severe famine in Samaria. However, at the gate of Samaria were four lepers who decided to rise up and do something about their challenge. These men had been banished to live outside the city gates to fend for themselves. But they refused to give up on themselves. They believed that something good might just happen to them as they went to the enemy’s camp. As they rose up and took a bold step, God moved into the enemy’s camp and made them to hear the sound of many chariots. And the enemies ran away and left all they took from the people of God. In like manner, I declare that all the enemy has taken from you will be restored back to you in Jesus name.As you enter the New Year, the Lord will make it a glorious year for you. All your dreams and desires will come to pass. God will exceed your expectations. Every month of this New Year will answer to you and deliver to you its goodness in Jesus’ name. You will not be denied. I bless you and yours in Jesus’ name. Compliments of the season.Further Reading: 1 Samuel 17:41-49, 2 kings 7: 1-8Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Malachi; Evening- Revelation 22
