Religion? No thank you!
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” – EPHESIANS 2:1000:0001:30
When people tell me they don’t believe in religion, I tell them, I don’t either. And I don’t. Religion is doing with the hope it will lead to spiritual being. But life in Christ is being that leads to doing. Religion is all about “doing” to earn salvation, but Christianity is about “done!” The finished work of Jesus on the Cross provides victory over sin and death so that we can be in a personal relationship with Him. That’s when the “doing” comes in to the Christian life.
Our scripture tells us that we were created in Christ Jesus for good works that God wants us to walk in and thus glorify Him. So make sure you are deepening your relationship with Christ and doing the good works God has prepared for you. It will definitely characterize your daily walk as a winning walk!
