REST IN HIS GRACE
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
Child of God, you must learn to rest in the finished work of Christ at Calvary. When Jesus died on the cross, He boldly announced: “IT IS FINISHED.” God has completed the work concerning you in eternity. You were saved by grace! How then do you want to sustain yourself by works? The work of Jesus is total and complete; nothing more to add. Your part is to appropriate it to yourself. Do not think that the blessing and goodness coming to you is because of the effort you have put in. No! Your salvation is a product of Grace. Your salvation is not only from sin, but from everything the devil has to offer– sin, sickness and poverty. All you need has been paid for in full, but you must appropriate it by living in agreement with the Word.
Realize that you are not the sick in search of healing. You are the healed the devil is trying to make sick. You are not the poor looking for money. You are the rich the devil is trying to make poor. When you understand your position in Christ, then you will learn the beauty of resting in His grace. The work has been concluded in eternity. Your part is to enforce it in the now. Don’t let the devil deceive you. The symptom is not the sickness but a mirage designed by the enemy to make you drop your healing. The lack of money is not the challenge. It is a setup by the devil to make you change your confession and embrace lack. When you understand the trick of the devil, you can put him where he belongs and enforce your right.
Whether the devil likes it or not, your rejoicing has started. It is not a function of the way you feel. It is a function of the goodness of God which is revealed to you in His word. Nothing will stop your celebration!
