RESTORER OF LIFE

“And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel. And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.” Ruth 4:14-15 (KJV)

As a leader, you are not an instrument of destruction. You are a builder! You are a vision builder! You are a vision helper! And above all, you are a restorer of life. When I say leaders, it does not exclude you; you may not be leading anyone today, but tomorrow you will. So, the same principles apply to you.

Leaders must understand their strategic roles as restorers. Restorers of life are leaders who love in spite of challenges. They can be trusted! You can invest in them! You can hand things over to them and walk away; they will not betray or stab you in the back.

A few leaders who are restorers of life who are following you are better than multitudes who are following you without contributing anything. Just a few restorers of life who buy into the vision will change the equation. That is where everyone should strive to be – a restorer of life.

This type of leader understands that the church organization has only one vision. As such, wherever they find themselves, they position themselves to be an expression of this same vision. It is an aberration for leaders to think that they are running a different agenda where they are. No! Restorers of life don’t operate that way. They understand that the anointing flows from the head down. It doesn’t run from down to up.

You will continue to struggle if you don’t understand these spiritual dynamics. You will continue to struggle if you have your agenda. When you connect to the agenda of the centre, there is no way the anointing that flows in the centre will not touch you wherever you are. That anointing will do exploits where you are. But when you are in a place, and you are trying to generate another oil, there will always be problems. There will be problems because your oil will be polluted. And it will not bring any results.
