And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose
Our key verse for today is an outlook indicator! How you read this verse determines your outlook. Your outlook determines your outcome in life.
In our current climate, we face unprecedented struggles. We are dealing with the unknown, with an uncertain future. Each of us has the opportunity to choose our outlook and to determine our ultimate outcome.
Some people will deny the power of this verse. In the crisis, they will argue that God has not worked things for their good. They will fix their eyes on a faltering business or an illness or a deficiency, and they will lose sight of a benevolent God orchestrating His plan for their lives.
Others stand on a weak theology that the Christian life is absent of struggle. That doctrine is not weathering the current storm well.
His Word says that we will experience difficulties in this life, that needs will arise, that struggles will come. It also assures us that, in the middle of the struggle, He is our Strength, our Provider, and our Healer. In the swirling uncertainty, we have a firm foundation, and Jesus is His name.
Choose to believe, to know, that God is working for you. Allow this faith-filled outlook to determine your good outcome.
Blessing:
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May the Lord make His face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you and give you His peace. May your confidence rest in a God Who never fails. May your hope rest securely in the One Who is working out His good plans for your life.
