SATAN IS A DEFEATED FOE

“And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10 KJV

You will be surprised how many believers have not been able to enjoy the salvation that God brought to us through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. The word ‘salvation’ is not just a word but it’s a rich, robust and very expensive word. It does not merely mean saving you from sin and eternal punishment but it’s much more than that. It involves salvation from diseases, poverty, fear, intimidation, blackmail, molestation and from everything the devil has to offer.

However, many today who have given their hearts to Christ are not yet enjoying the salvation that Christ gave. One of the reasons is because the devil has not stopped his assignment as the accuser. An accuser charges you for offences, finds fault or blame; he arrests, attacks, or blows the whistle against you for things you have done in the past to implicate you. These are the intentions of the accuser.

You see, the devil had the audacity to confront God to the point that he was able to draw a few of the angels to himself. Who do you think you are that he will not accuse you? Accusations are meant to discredit you and make people doubt your integrity. Those who were eager to be friendly with you will begin to avoid you and those you laid down your life for will turn around to betray you. Satan’s accusation will make you have low self-esteem that will cause you to say: “I’m not beautiful enough and so no one will look my direction.” Satan’s accusation says God loves everyone and does not love you. Don’t fall for his accusation. He is a defeated foe and has been cast down.
