READ: 2 Kings 4:38-41

“But he said, Then bring meal. And he cast it into the pot; and he said, Pour out for the people, that they may eat. And THERE WAS NO HARM IN THE POT” – 2 Kings 4:41

By a prophet you are delivered from the curse of sudden death, demonic surprises, poisoning, wicked traps and snares of the devil. It was through the ministry of a prophet that the curse of death in the pot was overcome. The sons of the prophets had already eaten poisonous food. The curse of death was about to envelope the entire family of prophets. This curse was averted because of the ministry of the prophet, Elisha.

Whatever curse and whatever surprise Satan has for you is foiled today by the ministry of the prophet.

By a prophet you are also delivered from the curse of sickness and incurable diseases. It was through the ministry of a prophet that healing came to Naaman the Syrian. There was no way that Naaman would have been healed from leprosy without the intervention of the prophet.

Now Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master, and honourable, because by him the Lord had given deliverance unto Syria: he was also a mighty man in valour, but he was a leper.

And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? How much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean?

Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean. 2 Kings 5:1, 13-14
