SEE YOURSELF MANIFESTING YOUR NEW NATURE

2Corinthians 5:17 (CEV, GNB), Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV, CEV)

Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new. *Anyone who is joined to Christ is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come. *But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance…*God’s Spirit makes us loving, happy, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle, and self-controlled…

Seeing yourself manifesting the attributes of your new nature, stirs up God’s wisdom and power for you to manifest them, (Phil.2:13, Josh.6:2-3). See yourself as loving (always selflessly committed to the well-being of others, just like God does). See yourself joyful (always rejoicing and glad because of who God is, His love for you and all He has done for you in Christ). See yourself peaceful (always calm, whole and unafraid even amid challenges, troubles and storms because of God’s power and wisdom available to you). See yourself patient (always able to bear, endure, persist and persevere in any circumstance, no matter how long it takes, because you are conscious of the love and faithfulness of God). See yourself being kind (always merciful and gracious to others, no matter their attitude, by the wisdom of God). See yourself being good (always exhibiting the right values and upholding moral excellence at all times).

See yourself being faithful (always loyal and committed to God and those connected to you no matter the circumstance). See yourself being meek (always humble and sacrificing your ego and reputation to love and serve others). See yourself being self-controlled (always able to restrain your spirit, soul and body to the plan and will of God, no matter the temptation, irritation or provocation).

Prayer:
Father, I thank you for making me loving, joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, meek and self-controlled.
