SEEK TO UNDERSTAND WHAT IS AVAILABLE TO YOU

“Wisdom resteth in the heart of him that hath understanding….” Proverbs 14:33 (KJV)According to the book of Ephesians 1, when apostle Paul heard of the Ephesians’ strong faith in the Lord Jesus and their love for God’s people everywhere, he continually thanked God on their behalf and prayed that they be granted Spiritual wisdom and revelation. Apostle Paul prayed constantly, asking God the Glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ to give the church spiritual wisdom and insight so that they might grow in the knowledge of God. He prayed that their hearts will be flooded with light so that they may understand the confident hope that God has given to those He calls His people. God’s people are His rich and glorious inheritance.Child of God, I want you to understand that we, the believers, are the rich and glorious inheritance of God Himself. You need to know this and walk in this confident assurance at all times. Paul also prayed that the church will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power that is available to us who believe. It is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated Him in the place of honour at God’s right hand in the Heavenly realms. An incredible power is at work in you and on your behalf and Paul wants you to understand this. Paul’s prayer is an indication that several people in the church do not understand what God has made available to them and sincerely, ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance robs you of your inheritance. Now, Jesus is far above any ruler or authority or power or leader or anything else; not only in this world, but also in the world to come. God has put all things under the authority of Christ and has made him head over all things for the benefit of the church and the church is His body. It is made full and complete by Christ who fills all things everywhere with Himself. Don’t ever get confused. Hold on to this confident hope and watch every situation and circumstance of your life conform to that which God has spoken concerning you. I bless you today in the name of the Lord.Further Reading: Ephesians 1:15-21 (NLT)Daily Bible Reading: Morning- Psalms 87-88; Evening- Romans 13
