The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.— Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)
I often say, “I might not be where I want to be, but thank God I’m not where I used to be. I’m okay and I’m on my way!”
Today’s scripture says that the path of the righteous grows brighter and brighter every day. If you can look back and say, “I’ve improved over the last year. My behavior is a little bit better” then you can celebrate!
However, if you feel you have made no progress at all, then the devil is probably lying to you. I believe you want to improve, and the truth is that anyone who wants to improve will improve.
Your path is growing brighter and clearer every day, and celebrating your progress is one way of saying, “Thank You, God.”
Prayer Starter: Thank you, Lord, for helping me grow day by day. With Your help, I believe I am on my way. In Jesus’ name, amen.
