SIGNS THAT YOU REALLY BELIEVE GOD CARES FOR YOU

Psalms 55:22 (NIV), 1Peter 5:6-7 (KJV, GNB)

Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.*Humble yourselves…under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. *Humble yourselves…under God’s mighty hand,…he will lift you up in his… good time. Leave all your worries with him, because he cares for you.

As a believer, it is not enough for you to say with your mouth that God cares for you. Your attitude must show it. If you really believe that God cares for you, you will keep casting all your cares upon Him. God wants you to always communicate with Him and confide in Him about the things going on in your life and about the sincere desires of your heart. God wants you to keep coming boldly to His throne of grace to obtain His mercy and to find His grace to help you in your time of need, (Heb.4:16). God wants you to pray without ceasing, (1Thes.5:17). God does not want you to be anxious about anything. Instead, He wants you to pray about everything and give Him thanks. As you do this, His peace will fill your heart, (Phil.4:6-7).

Apart from being prayerful, when you really believe God cares for you, you will stop being worried because you have cast all your cares upon God and you know He is willing and able to take care of them. God does not sleep nor slumber because He is watching over you, (Psa.121:4). God gives sleep to you His beloved, (Psa.127:2). God wants you to trust Him and enjoy His rest. Trust in God, (Jer.17:7-8). Relax, (Isa.26:3). The fowls of the air and the lilies of the field do not struggle because God takes care of them. You are more precious to God than them, (Matt.6:25-34). You’re a member of His household.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I thank you because you love me and you take good care of me. I trust in you concerning the desires of my heart.
