Solid evidence

“Now the word of God came to Jonah the second time.” – JONAH 3:1 

This is quite possibly one of the greatest verses in the Old Testament. Christianity, our walk with God, is all about God’s Word coming to us a second time. It’s about new beginnings. It’s all about a second chance.

Jonah evaded God’s command the first time. But God heard Jonah’s prayer, and renewed his commission. God will do the same for us when we rush off in the wrong direction. He will bring us back and give us another opportunity to serve Him. I can’t think of more solid evidence of God’s grace, can you?
