Solid ground

Have you ever heard someone say, “I want to know God’s will, but I’m afraid it might be something dangerous.” Let me tell you, whether you are 18 or 80, there is one thing that is not dangerous, and that is God’s will for your life. What IS dangerous is to wander or drift away from God’s will and purpose. There are three things about God’s will that I can state with absolute confidence. Number one: You can know God’s will. It is not hidden, and God wants you to know it. Number two, you can understand His will. He will give you the ability to understand His plan for you. And number three, you can do His will from your heart.
Will He ask you to do some things that are hard, or that may take you out of your comfort zone? Possibly. But you can trust Him, and trust that His will is good – and perfect – and acceptable.
