Speak Great Increase into Your Life

Proverbs 18:20-21 (KJV, GNB), James 3:5 (TPT)
A man’s belly shall be satisfied with the fruit of his mouth; and with the increase of his lips shall he be filled.
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. *You will have to live with the consequences of everything you say. What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words. *And so the tongue is a small part of the body yet it carries great power! Just think of how a small flame can set a huge forest ablaze.

Just as desiring increase and praying for it is important, speaking increase into your life is also important. You are what you are by your confession. Your words carry great power. Your words are not just sounds, they are creative forces. “Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen,” (Heb.11:3, TPT). Just as God created the world by speaking, you can recreate your world with your words.

God wants you to speak like Him; not only today, but every single day of your life. God does not want you to speak like everybody around you. This year, train yourself not to speak about what is happening around you or what everybody else is saying. Train yourself to speak what God says about you. God did not say you will have what is happening to everyone around you. God said you will speak to mountains and they will move and you will have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23). “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee,” (Psa.91:7). “When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up…” (Job 22:29).

Your life will be filled with the things you speak. Declare your realities in Christ. Declare that you are the redeemed of the Lord. Declare that the Lord is your Shepherd. Declare that you are strong and you prosper in all areas of your life. Declare that your territory is enlarged and you increase on every side. Declare that you are the head and not the tail. Declare that you are blessed and you are lifted. Declare that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

Action Point:
Declare great increase into specific areas of your life right now. Speak like Christ. Say what God says about you. Declare your realities in Christ.
