MESSAGE
Child of God, ensure you stay connected to God because that is what guarantees your continual safety and relevance. The adversaries you defeated yesterday, have not given up. They can rise up from another angle against you, but with God, on your side, they are sure to go down. In a strange land, a certain Jew called Mordecai who was carried from Jerusalem with the captivity of Judah, stayed connected to God. He upholded the commandment of God and refused to bow down to Haman and that incurred the wrath of Haman and he used his influence with the king and made him sign a decree to destroy the entire Jews.

The day for that had been set. He also prepared a gallow to hang Mordecai. But Mordecai was not just a Jew by birth, but a Jew who understood the power of prayer and fasting, the believer’s strong force of connection with divinity; the force that provokes divine intervention and turns things around for good. He then sent a message to Esther, the queen and he, the queen and the entire Jews engaged in a three days fast and Esther went into the king and she obtained favour from him and the unrighteous decree was terminated and Haman was eventually hung in the gallow he prepared for Mordecai.
Esther, who later became queen in the land of captivity was an orphan living with her uncle Mordecai who was a gate keeper at the palace. She stayed connected to God. She kept herself as daughters of zion should and when she became queen, her position never made her lose sanity of her divine origin. She hearkened to her uncle and fasted and prayed, then went in to the king and she obtained favour which preserved her people. Always stay connected and remain relevant.

PRAYER: My Father! My Father! As I begin to pray, help me Lord to stay connected to you till the end
