STAY STRONG IN THE LORD

The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?  Psalms 27:1 KJV

Speaking the Word into your life is very important because it helps you to stand in the midst of adversity. Ensure you keep on declaring what God prophesied over you because the more you declare it, the clearer it becomes. Whether it looks like it or not, keep speaking the Word more often. Surround yourself with the Word- in your car, your bathroom, everywhere. Read or listen to it over and over again because every seed will produce after its kind. Intensify your commitment in studying your Bible and in the confession of the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God and faith goes when you stop hearing the Word of God. Speak the Word of God to yourself.

David’s faith was often activated when he reminded himself about God. In Psalm 23 David declared the Word over himself saying: “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” (KJV).

Constantly remind yourself of God’s goodness. He forgives all my sins. He heals me. He ransoms me from hell. He surrounds me with loving-kindness and tender mercies. He fills my life with good things! Always speak the Word no matter the contradictions. That is how to stay strong in life and stay strong against the wiles of the devil.
