STOP LOOKING DOWN ON YOURSELF

“God told me, “Don’t say, ‘I’m only a boy.’ I’ll tell you where to go and you’ll go there. I’ll tell you what to say and you’ll say it. Don’t be afraid of a soul.” Jeremiah 1:7 (MSG)

God told the weeping ancient Prophet in Jeremiah 1:5-12: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah responded “Then said I, Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.” But the Lord said unto me; “Say not, I am a child, for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak…  Moreover, the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, “Jeremiah, what seest thou?” And I said, “I see a rod of an almond tree.” Then said the Lord unto me, “Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.”  Stop looking down on yourself. Stop speaking about what the enemies are planting in your spirit.

Prophet Jeremiah was seeing his inability in the calling. But God assured him of His ability to enable him.  Don’t say with your mouth that your background is not good. Don’t say with your mouth that you are a failure. Don’t say with your mouth that you are a disappointment. Don’t say you can’t make it. Don’t say any negative things about your life when God has great plans for you. When you are assured of His presence, you are not alone. God is with you. Therefore, you can’t be stranded.

All you need is to believe what God said about you! See that you do not doubt Him who spoke from heaven.  And God said, “I will hasten my words to perform it” (Jeremiah 1:12) Don’t allow the devil to lie to you. From the foundation of the world, it is the pre-determined plan of God for you to be great and to be a success story. No confusion in your life. The wilderness experience comes to an end now.
