STOP TOLERATING THOSE EXCUSES
JEREMIAH 1:4-8(GNB).
The LORD said to me, “I chose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nation’s.” I answered, “… LORD, I don’t know how to speak; I am too young, but go to the people I send you to, and tell them everything I command you to say. Do not be afraid of them, for I will be with you to protect you…”
What excuses have you been allowing to stop you from moving forward to break new grounds and be all that God has ordained for you to be in Christ and in every area of your life? Beloved it is time for you to say no to those excuses and arise and move forward in the direction of God’s will and purpose for your life. One of the reasons many people make excuses is because they have chosen to accept a wrong perspective of themselves. When God was seeing and calling Gideon a mighty man of valour Gideon was seeing and calling himself the least person in a poor family of Israel (judges 6:12 & 15).
Do not allow anything to make you afraid or lazy. Do not say you cannot go out because there is a lion in the street (Proverbs 26:13) Stop allowing the wind to stop you from sowing (Ecclesiastes 11:4). . Break out of your comfort zone. Stop saying you are too young or too old. Stop saying you cannot speak well.( Exodus 4:10-12). Stop saying there are giants in the land and stop referring to yourself as a grasshopper in your own eyes. Many times, the things you are afraid of are more afraid of you (Joshua 6:1). Stop believing what people, your past or your circumstances are saying above what God is saying about you. Stop seeing impossibilities and start seeing possibilities for nothing is impossible with God.
Confession:
I choose to see myself the way God sees me and believe what God says about me. I will never allow any excuse to stop me again.
