STRENGTH FROM BUILDING YOUR LIFE ON THE REVELATION OF CHRIST
Matthew 7:24-25 (NIV), Acts 20:32
“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up,….
The words of Jesus in our first text above are so profound! What are you building your life on? What type of foundation are you laying for your life? The best foundation you can build your life on is the revelation of Christ. Are you filling yourself with the revelation of Christ, (Col.3:16)? As you receive and apply the revelation of Christ to your life, you are building divine strength and stability into your life.
James 1:25 says, “But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.” As you continue to allow the revelation of Christ influence your perspective of yourself and direct your thoughts, words and actions, the grace, glory, power and blessings of God will be activated in your life. The revelation of Christ is what will build your life up and make you always experience your inheritance as a child of God.
A change of year does not affect your inheritance in Christ. Though the year changes, your stability, blessings and progress in life are sure because they come from Christ. God supplies your needs according to His riches in glory, and not the year you are in or the prevailing situations around you. The revelation of Christ will make you more like Christ. Christ will be formed more and more in you and revealed more and more through you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, please help me to keep filling myself with the revelation of Christ and building my life by the revelation of Christ.
