STRENGTHENED BY THE REVELATION OF THE LOVE OF CHRIST

Ephesians 3:17-19, John 17:26 (GNB)

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love. May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. I made you known to them…that the love you have for me may be in them, and so that I also may be in them.”

One major thing the world is ignorant about is the love of God. God’s love is so amazing and it is so awesome. The love of God is so wide, so deep, so long and so high! It is beyond what can be fully understood by the human mind. It is revealed to us as we focus on Christ and it is spread or poured out
in our hearts by the Holy Spirit, (Rom.5:5).

As we experience more of this revelation of the love of God, something deep happens to us on the inside. First, there is a divine pull that we have towards God, (Jer.31:3). We understand how deep and unconditional God’s love for us is and it makes us always run towards Him and never away from Him, even if we fall, (1John 2:1-2). His love makes us confident that He will meet all our needs and answer all our prayers, (Matt.7:11).

We are confident that all His promises are already our reality and as we hold on to Him, they will become our experience. God’s love makes us more than conquerors in whatever situation we find ourselves in. God’s love constrains us to make sacrifices to please Him and do His will, (2Cor.5:14). His love also makes us more like Him. We begin to reflect His love to others, even if they don’t deserve it and we are able to overcome evil with good, (Rom. 12:20-21).

Prayer Focus:
Ask God to fill you with the revelation of His love and ask Him to help you remain strong in His love.
