TAKE YOUR PLACE

“All these are the twelve tribes of Israel: and this is it that their father spake unto them, and blessed them; every one according to his blessing he blessed them.” Genesis 49:28 (KJV)

In the book of Genesis 49, when Jacob was about to depart into eternity, he called all his sons and daughters, took his position as a father, and spoke into their lives as an oracle of God. Jacob knew that there is God’s purpose for every one of them and he wanted them to possess their portions. If you read the bible, everything he said concerning them came to pass.

Brother Mike, what are you saying? I am saying that I am tired of you being where you are. I want to see you out there among gladiators of this world, killing the giants, slaying the lions and the bear. I want to see you out there standing out. When they pull out their Rolls Royce, you pull out your own because our God is more than enough. They cannot continue to intimidate you.

Often, when you fail to take your place, you will begin to think that they are right. They are not right! It is just that the elects love playing children’s games. The scripture says in Galatians 4:1: “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all” (KJV). Why? It is because you have refused to grow up. So, the need for growth comes to fore.

Why should I want to travel and somebody from another place will say to me Brother Mike, where are you travelling to? What is the cost of your ticket? Let us pay for it! Why is it not someone from my church? Why? So, you want me to be satisfied as long as my needs are met? No! I am not here for my needs to be met. I want your needs to be met over and abundantly. So that you can stand on a superior platform and make them know that your God is awesome.
