TAME YOUR THOUGHTS

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.” Matthew 24:12-13 (KJV)

You don’t have to look far to see the increase of sin in our world today. Sometimes, I sit down and ask myself, “Is it that people are no more thinking”? Some of the things we are seeing today are unbelievable. We can tolerate some things with animals but not with humans. Do you know that sleeping around does not mean anything to people again? Sleeping around now means nothing to both married folks and singles. We are daily witnessing all kinds of misbehaviour in our society.

Stealing is now nothing among Christians. What we used to abhor and call abomination has become the order of the day. We give different names to them to deodorize and glamorize them. These are all signs of the last days, and it is so important that you tame your thoughts. If you don’t tame and set your thoughts on the word of God, you cannot live victoriously, because your life will always go in the direction of your thoughts.

The things you see regularly are meant to set your thoughts in the way of the world. They are meant to convince you that things are not working. That is a lie from the pit of hell. The Word of God is still the answer to everything.

Beloved, set your thoughts on the word! Tame your thoughts! If you don’t garrison your thoughts, the devil will eat you for lunch. Your thoughts must be guarded! You happen to be living in this generation, and there is nothing you can do about it. You can’t run away! But the truth is that there is nothing that is happening that is a surprise to God. His plans for you are still very colourful. But you must learn to guard your thoughts so that God’s colourful destiny for you will not be aborted.
