READ: 1 Kings 22:30-37

“But the king of Syria commanded his thirty and two captains that had rule over his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of  Israel.“ – 1 Kings 22:31

The leader experiences attacks on behalf of everyone else. The King of Israel, who represented the leader of the armies of the Lord, knew that he was the primary choice target of the enemy.

Satan has tried to kill me through airplane crashes. I have been on two different airplanes that almost crashed while landing. In both cases, the Lord spared my life and permitted me to continue His work on earth. In 1997, while driving to the north of Ghana, I was involved in a terrible car accident and I found myself somersaulting off the road and into the bushes. The grace of God preserved my life again. I came out of the car uninjured. The devil has also tried to kill me through my health. Stress and illness almost “put out my light”. Once again, the Lord saved my life.

It is important for every believer to understand that Satan is trying to kill you. He would like to eliminate you from this earth. It is good to know that Satan cannot do whatever he wants to do.

Unless you give place to the devil (Ephesians 4:27), he cannot operate against you. Satan needs a foothold in order to proceed against you. Every serious Christian and minister who is involved in the fight against Satan must be aware of this reality . You must take steps to prevent the devil from having access to your life.
