THE ART AND ACT OF LEADERSHIP

The art of anything is easier than the act.

You can teach the art and fail to practice the act.

It wasn’t so with Christ, he was first a doer and then a teacher. Acts 1:1.

It is those who act leadership that command the leadership.

Nobody want to follow you for what you teach – that may just be motivational.

People will rather be compelled to follow you for what you practice in all ages.

Practitioners are commanders of followership.

What you do is what people will admire and emulate.

It is not enough to have knowledge of leadership.

It is more important to be in the practice of it.

The definition of leadership is far incomplete without action.
