THE BATTLE IS NOT YOURS
“And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15 (KJV)
When Jehoshaphat stood before the Lord he acknowledged that he had no might against the adversary that rose against Judah. Like Jehoshaphat, there are many things that we have no might against. But our God is all-powerful. Nothing is too hard for him to do.

There are challenges we are facing that we have no might against. We have no might against sickness and diseases. We have no might against certain marital challenges. We have no might against board room politics. There are adversities in our businesses and finances that we have no might against.
When you find yourself in such a situation where you have no answer to what is coming against you, then you must lean totally on God. “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;…” (Hebrews 12:2 KJV). You cannot look unto God in times of adversity and be disappointed. You cannot look unto Him and be put to shame. “Those who go to him for help are happy, and they are never disgraced”. (Psalms 34:5 NCV). No matter what, you will not be ashamed. You will not be humiliated. You will not be ground to a halt. No matter what the enemy has packaged, it will not destroy your life.
And so, Jehoshaphat looked unto God. The times we are living in are not a time for fleshly manifestations. It is not a time of looking unto the flesh and walking in our senses. When they prayed, the answer came in the Spirit. That was a generation that knew how to connect to the Spirit. And the Lord spoke to them: “…Be not afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s” The Lord will fight for you and you will hold your peace
