THE BELIEVER IN CHRIST CANNOT BE CURSED

Numbers 23:21-23 (MSG)

He has no bone to pick with Jacob, he sees nothing wrong with Israel. God is with them, and they’re with him, shouting praises to their King. God brought them out of Egypt, rampaging like a wild ox. No magic spells can bind Jacob, no incantations can hold back Israel. People will look at Jacob and Israel and say, “What a great thing has God done!”

As a believer in Christ, nobody can curse you or put you under any spell. This is one of the benefits of the Cross of Christ.

Despite the different positions he kept taking, instead of cursing the Israelites like he intended to, God made Balaam to continually declare blessings over them, (Num.23:13 & 27). Because of Jesus, we are in a better position than the children of Israel were. We are now one with Jesus (1 Cor.6:17) and we are seated with Him in heavenly places (Eph.2:6), far above principalities and powers, (Eph.1:19-21). Just as Christ cannot be cursed, you also cannot be cursed. No matter the angle or position anybody tries to take in order to place a curse or spell on you, it shall not work.

Whom God has blessed, no man can curse. In Christ God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places, (Eph.1:3). Jesus also became a curse for you when he died for you on the Cross. Now all of God’s blessings have been poured out upon you and you cannot be cursed anymore, (Gal.3:13-14). That blessing of God divinely empowers you to succeed and overcome no matter the challenge or opposition you are faced with. The blessing of God upon your life makes you unstoppable. You are blessed of the Lord.

Faith Declaration:
I am the blessed of the Lord. I am one with Christ and I cannot be cursed. All of God’s blessings are upon me
