THE BLESSING OF DIVINE WISDOM

Ecclesiastes 10:10 & 15, Proverbs 10:21-22

If the iron be blunt, and he do not whet the edge, then must he put to more strength: but wisdom is profitable to direct. *The labour of the foolish wearieth every one of them, because he knoweth not how to go to the city. *The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom. The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.

Lack of wisdom is a major source of the struggles in the lives of many people. “Only the wise know what things really mean. Wisdom makes them smile and makes their frowns disappear.” (Eccl.8:1, GNB). When people do not understand what is wrong or what to do about a situation, they frown or are worried or are afraid. But when a person understands a situation and knows what to do about it, he or she will be smiling, bold and at peace while others are frowning, worried and afraid.

The blessing of God empowers you to succeed and removes sorrows and struggles from your life. Divine wisdom is one of the blessings you have received in Christ, (Eph.1:3). Just like Jesus, you have the ability to always know what to do, (John 6:5-6). You have the mind of Christ, (1Cor.2:6). The Holy Spirit teaches you all things, (1John 2:20 & 27). Just like it happened with people like Joseph, Daniel and Solomon, the wisdom of God makes you sharp, able to dissolve mysteries, discern and interpret situations even when others around you cannot. By the supernatural wisdom of God, Jacob was able to overcome Laban’s plans to cheat him, (Gen.31:2-12).

Whenever you need wisdom about any situation, just ask of God and He will give you freely and abundantly, (James 1:5, Dan.2:17-19). By the blessing of the wisdom of God, you will never be stranded or have sorrow and you will not struggle.

Thank God for the blessing of His divine wisdom at work in your life. Receive wisdom now for every area you need it.
