THE FREE FLOW OF ANGELIC ACTIVITIES
Genesis 28:11-12 (CEV), Genesis 28:16-17 (GNB)
At sunset he stopped for the night and went to sleep, resting his head on a large rock. In a dream he saw a ladder that reached from earth to heaven, and God’s angels were going up and down on it. *Jacob woke up and said, “The LORD is here! He is in this place, and I didn’t know it!” He was afraid and said, “What a terrifying place this is! It must be the house of God; it must be the gate that opens into heaven.”
Just like Jacob who did not know that God was with him, so many believers are still ignorant of the presence of God that is always with them. As a child of God, you don’t only experience God’s presence whenever you are in church or whenever you are fellowshipping with God. You are a carrier of God’s presence. You are the temple of God and the Holy Spirit lives in you, (1Cor.3:16).
In his dream, Jacob saw the heavens open, then he saw a ladder that came down from heaven to earth and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. Beloved, because the heavens are always opened over your life, the angels of God are always operating in your life. Though you cannot see them with your physical eyes, they are always around you, ministering to you and for you as they carry out God’s instructions concerning your life (Heb.1:13-14). Their activities range from all kinds of protection (Psa. 91:11-12) to all kinds of deliverance (Psa. 34:7, Acts 12:6-10), to providing for you (1Kings 19:3-8) and strengthening you (Luke 22:43) to giving you and others directions (Matt.1:18-20, Matt.2:13).
When Jesus said He could ask the Father for more than twelve legions of angels (about 72,000) in Matthew 26:53, he was giving us an idea of the amount of angels each of us has access to. Right now, the angels of God are massively operating in your life.
Prayer Focus:
Thank God for His mighty angels that are ministering to you and for you right now. Rejoice and receive divine manifestations.
