THE GATES OF HELL SHALL NOT PREVAIL OVER US

Matthew 16:16-18

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

The Body of Christ in this nation is unstoppable because Jesus Himself is in charge of building us and He has said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against us. The Bible says, “What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?” “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us,” (Rom.8:31, 37). No weapon formed against us shall prosper, (Isa.54:17).

The Body of Christ shall continue to wax stronger and stronger. Every attempt to stop or limit us will only lead to an increase and advancement of God’s will and plan for us. The Bible says, “But the more the Egyptians oppressed the Israelites, the more they increased in number and the farther they spread through the land. The Egyptians came to fear the Israelites,” (Exo.1:12). All things will work out together for our good, (Rom.8:28). We shall grow and spread more and more. The Body of Christ in this nation shall experience a great harvest, revival and move of the Spirit like never before. More and more people will come to know our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. People will continue to be added to the church daily and the faith of believers will continue to get stronger and stronger. We shall continue to focus on Jesus and we shall not be moved or distracted.

Action Point:
Pray for the church now, that God will continue to strengthen and increase us more and more.
