THE HIDDEN WISDOM OF GOD

PROVERB 25:2 (AMPC), COLOSSIANS 2:2b-3 (TPT) It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a thing.…This will give you access to all the riches of God as you experience the revelation of God’s great mystery—Christ. For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge.*

When our first text says, ‘It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, and it is the glory of kings to search out a thing,’ it does not just refer to general or scientific knowledge that people seek out, discover, and use to have a significant impact in their lives. It’s a reference to Christ. God has hidden or concealed so much of His glory, wisdom, power, and blessings about us and for us in Christ. Right now, God wants us to focus on Christ in order to know and experience these things. (1Cor.1:24) Christ is the wisdom and power of God. God desires to pour the revelation of Christ into your heart.

Christ’s revelation is out of the ordinary. It both blesses and transforms us. Apostle Paul discusses the hidden wisdom that God ordained before the world for our glory in 1 Corinthians 2:7. In verses 9 and 10, he goes on to say that the things God has in store for us in Christ have not been seen, heard, or imagined by our eyes, ears, or minds, and God reveals these things to us through the Spirit. The riches of God made available to us in Christ are limitless (Eph.3:8, GNB). We can never fully comprehend or exhaust them. God provides for all of our needs from these riches (Phil.4:19). The riches of Christ are stirred up in you as the revelation of Christ dwells richly in you (Col.3:16). The revelation of Christ builds us up and gives us our inheritance in God, (Acts 20:32).

PRAYER:
Father, please open my eyes to the wisdom, glory, power and blessings you have hidden for me in Christ.
