THE JOY AND BLESSINGS OF FELLOWSHIP (1)

Psalms 122:1 (KJV, TPT), Psalms 16:11 (KJV, GNB)

I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD.*I was overjoyed when they said, “Let’s go up to the house of the Lord.” *Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. *You will show me the path that leads to life; your presence fills me with joy and brings me pleasure forever.

David did not have the life of God that we now have, because Jesus had not yet come down to earth. Yet, He enjoyed fellowship with God more than many believers do today. Right now, I see God removing everything that may have been hindering you from enjoying the great joy and blessings of fellowshipping with Him. One reason some people do not enjoy their fellowship with God as they should, is because they always come with either a sense of guilt or a sense of religious duty.

Because of Jesus, God wants you to draw near to Him with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having your heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and your body washed with pure water, (Heb.10:22). By His blood, Jesus has taken away all your sins. He wants you to receive His forgiveness and be free from every guilt and shame. Renew your mind with what Jesus has done.

Jesus wants you to always come boldly to God’s throne of grace to fellowship with God, (Heb.4:16). God is not counting your sins against you (2Cor.5:19). He wants you to fellowship with Him and receive His strength to live victoriously over sin and in all areas of your life. In Christ, God has given you victory over sin and as you draw nearer to God, He will fill you and empower you more to experience victory.

Action Point:
Thank God for sending Jesus to take away your sin, guilt and shame. Fellowship with God right now and enjoy His fullness.
