THE LORD HAS RAISED YOU UP

And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus”. Ephesians 2:6 (KJV)

The book of Ephesians 2:5–6 tells us something very powerful. It says: “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us; together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus” (KJV)

The word ‘quickened’ means made alive. He made us alive. Not only that, but He has also raised you from sickness, raised you from death, from poverty, from disappointment, raised you from being stranded, from fear, and from anything that hell has to offer.

Why did He make us sit together? What was His reason? He made us sit together with Christ so that we can see from His position, the things He has made available to us. That is why He wants you to sit.

God is saying to you: “Hey, relax! Don’t be bothered about what the devil is doing. Sit with me and relax. Understand that this enemy that is roaring has no teeth” God wants you to know that the devil has been defeated and Jesus has obtained the victory. He wants you to know that all that you will need in life, all that will make you comfortable and that will make life enjoyable for you is already available. Glory to God. That is why He wants you to sit.

When you sit in heavenly places you will see how weak the devil is. That is the understanding we must have.
