The Lord is my strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped.— Psalm 28:7 (AMPC)

I am continually amazed by, and thankful for, the enabling power of God in our lives. Through Him, we truly can do all things that He’s given us to do. Because of my history and journey with God, I can say without a doubt that He is faithful, and I want to assure you that He’ll enable you to do all you need to do.

Keeping a good attitude and continuing to believe God opens the door for Him to give you any strength, ability, and wisdom that you need. You may not always feel that you have it, but when you step out in faith, you’ll find that He’s working in you, giving you the ability to finish the task in front of you.

I encourage you to believe that you can instead of being afraid that you can’t. God gives us grace (ability and strength) for one day at a time, so it’s unwise to look too far ahead in life. If we do, we’ll feel overwhelmed about everything we have to do. When we take time to look back at what God has already enabled us to do and what He’s brought us through, we’ll be reminded that through Christ, we can fulfill His purpose for us, both now and in the future.

You are stronger than you think! God is in you, He is for you and He will never leave you or forsake you, so live courageously—and always remember that God is your strength!

Prayer Starter: Father, I’m so grateful for my relationship with You, and for Your strength and ability. When life seems overwhelming, please help me trust You to enable me to do whatever I need to do. You are my strength! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
