The Neutral Zone

For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of the light!  

Ephesians 5:8

Jesus talked about two kingdoms – God’s Kingdom, which is the Kingdom of Light, and the devil’s kingdom, the kingdom of darkness. He offered no third kingdom – no kingdom of “neutrality.” We’ve heard the saying “not to decide is to decide.” Therefore, those who declare spiritual “neutrality” find themselves automatically registered in the kingdom of darkness. A person who chooses neutrality doesn’t understand why darkness keeps choking out the light in their lives. It’s because they are isolated from God’s blessings by their own choice.

Are there any areas of spiritual neutrality in your life? An area where you struggle to believe? Let me encourage you to choose the light of God’s Kingdom and the teachings of His Word. Decide this very day to live as a person of the Light!
